A fairly small rocky outcrop, Hart Tor lies about a mile south of Princetown and sits on a spur of land between the upper section of the River Meavy and nearby Hart Tor Brook. There is also an old military rifle range to the north used back in the 1800’s. On the lower southwestern slopes lies Hart Tor stone row.
