Sharpitor, Dartmoor

One of the easiest Dartmoor tors to get to, Sharpitor lies only half a mile from the main Princetown to Dousland road (the B3212) and there is plenty of nearby parking. If you make the climb to the top, on a clear day, you will obtain the most stupendous views. Directly below, to the southeast, lies Leather Tor and below this, Burrator Reservoir, to the south and west lies the Tamar Valley, to the north and west lies North Hessary Tor, Great Mis Tor, Great Staple Tor and Vixen Tor.
