Down Tor, Dartmoor

Down Tor lies to the north-east of Burrator Reservoir and rises to a height of approximately 1,100 feet. The closest place to park to it is Norsworthy Bridge. It is well worth the climb to the top for the panoramic views. About 4/10’s of a mile to the east there is an impressive stone row and stone circle known variously as Down Tor Stone row, Hingston Hill, Hingston Hill Stone Circle and Hingston Hill Stone Row.
