Next door to the Chapel is the Lady's Chamber which was the equivalent to the private quarters of the Lord. Like the Lord's chamber it to would have contained fine furnishings and a bed. There is a fireplace at one end, a cellar underneath and the third of the mysterious "pits" in the cellar. Next door is a guardroom probably used for the accommodation of servants and guards with a guest chamber for more important visitors overhead. By the side of this is a stone staircase leading to the Wall-walk.
