Jersey Tiger - Cotehele Gardens

Although known as the Jersey Tiger, this attractive moth can also be found in south Devon and, as in this photograph, across the Tamar in Cornwall. Colonies have also appeared in Dorset and the Isle of Wight. It is both a daytime and nightime flyer and can be found feeding on various flowers as well as being attracted to light at night.
