Latin name - Celastrina argiolus

Flight period – Mid March to September.

Wingspan – 2.8 to 3.4 cm, 1.1 to 1.34 inch.

Description - Holly blues have sky-blue upper wings and pale blue under wings with with black spots. Males have narrow, black borders on their upper wings, whereas females have broad, dull black borders.
